Sound Level Meter is a simple tool that displays sound pressure level (SPL) and decibel values (min, average, and max). It is designed to be used for general purpose purposes and is ideal for protecting your hearing.
It is developed as a side project for our personal use and is made available under a free software license. You can download and use this extension without having to pay a penny.
As for the sensor used for the extension, you can use either your device's built-in microphone, or your phone's or tablet's microphone.
